Include the app version from the app's Settings screen, your iPhone model and iOS version, and, if a compression did not finish, the exact message the app showed.

Getting started

Open the app and choose a video from your library. Pick one of the size limits, or type your own number in MB. Start the compression. When it finishes, the result screen shows the final size against your limit, and you can save the copy to Photos or share it straight from the app.

Compressed copies stay in the app until you delete them, so you can come back and save or share one later.

Common questions

Will the file really be under my limit? Yes. The size shown on the result screen is the size of the file the app produced, measured on disk. If the app cannot reach your limit at watchable quality, it tells you before compressing and lets you choose a larger size or accept the quality floor.

Does it change my original video? No. The app writes a new file and leaves the original untouched.

Where did the compressed video go? It is in the app's library until you delete it. Saving to Photos adds a copy to your photo library; the first time you do that, iOS asks for add-only permission.

Why did saving to Photos fail? Usually the Photos permission was turned off. Open iOS Settings, find Video Compressor, and allow Photos access.

How do I get the unlock back after reinstalling? Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

How do I get a refund? Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are too. Use Apple's report-a-problem service at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is there a subscription? No. Two compressions are free, then one purchase unlocks the app for good.
