Video Compressor · Last updated 19 September 2026

Video Compressor runs entirely on your iPhone. Your videos are never uploaded, there is no account, and the app does not collect any data about you.

This describes the app as shipped. If a future version changes any of it, this page and its date change first.

Your videos

You choose a video through the iPhone's system picker, so the app only ever receives the video you pick. Compression runs on the phone. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Compressed copies are kept inside the app, on your device, until you delete them. Saving a copy to Photos uses add-only permission: the app can add a video to your library but cannot browse or read it. Your original video is never modified.

Like any app, its data can be included in an iCloud or device backup you control through iOS settings. Apple runs those backups, not us.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment and your Apple Account. The app only learns whether the purchase exists and stores that on the device. We do not receive your name, payment details or purchase history.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party code, and it makes no network connections of its own. It does not track you across other apps or websites. In App Store terms, this app collects no data.

This website

These pages are static and set no cookies. The company that hosts them may keep standard server logs, such as the IP address and browser of each request, for as long as it needs to serve and protect the site.

Your choices

Delete a compressed copy from the app to remove it from your device. Turn off the app's Photos permission in iOS Settings at any time. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, including your free-compression count and purchase record, which Restore Purchases brings back.
